THE 12 HABITS TO TAKE BETTER CARE OF YOURSELF

Written by the Founder of PLAN LUXE.

I like to learn what will make me feel good in my body and in my mind.
I take advice from athletes as I believe they live the best lifestyle as they need to maintain the best possible form and metabolism to achieve the most effective results in competitions.
The darlings! Here are the best self-care habits to take better care of yourself!

💋
 Stop the salt
Salt is really bad for your health. Adding too much salt to your meals on a regular basis can lead to long-term heart disease. Eating too much salt can contribute to high blood pressure, which is linked to conditions such as heart failure and heart attacks, kidney problems, fluid retention, strokes and osteoporosis! So stop salting, my beauty, your heart and your health will thank you!

💋 Wear sunglasses

Good sunglasses protect you from UVA and UVB rays. The sun's harmful UV rays can not only damage our skin, but also our eyes. Sun damage can cause long-term eye problems such as cataracts and macular degeneration. These are serious problems that can lead to blindness. Wearing the right sunglasses all year round can literally save our eyesight.

💋 Don't sleep on your stomach

It may be good for you, but not so much for your back. Sleeping on your stomach causes your vertebra to rotate into an awkward position. Sleeping on your stomach puts a strain on your back and spine. The result of cel are back pain and more. Stress on the spine increases stress on other structures in your body. Also, because the spine is a pipeline for your nerves, spinal stress can cause pain just about anywhere in your body.
Here are some tips that might help you avoid sleeping on your stomach:

💝 Use a thin pillow or no pillow at all. The flatter the pillow, the less your head and neck tilt.

💝 Put a pillow under your pelvis. This will help keep your back in a more neutral position and reduce pressure on your spine.

💋 Mute notifications

Getting too many notifications on your phone won't help your well-being. Why? Because you get too much information, which is not necessarily useful. You also feel the need to check your notifications all the time, you get addicted to it, you waste your time when you could be using that time to be productive.

💋 Delete your emails

Regularly checking your emails is the only way to be stress-free. Who likes to check their emails and see that there are 3000 emails waiting?! Nobody! It's so stressful! What I do is simple: I receive my emails on my phone so that I can respond immediately or delete unnecessary emails.

💋 Don't wait hours before going to the bathroom

If you wait too long before going to the bathroom, you will become incontinent, which means you won't be able to hold your urine when you feel the urge to go. So when you feel your bladder is full go to the bathroom, don't wait girls!

💋 Stop procrastinating

Procrastination is literally my worst enemy! I can't stand waiting before doing something. When I have to do something, I do it right away so when I'm done my mind is free and I can enjoy my day! So if you want to be free-spirited, stop procrastinating!

💋 Don't sleep in during the weekend

Girls! You have a biological clock if you don't wake up at around the same time every day, it will be disrupted and you will feel tired. If we wake up at the same time every day, we can strengthen the circadian rhythm and be encouraged to go to bed at the same time every night. The result is that our bodily functions and cycles work efficiently, keeping our system strong and energized.

💋 Give !

Minimalism is my way of life. I don't like to accumulate a lot of things. If something is no longer useful to me or is broken I throw it away or if it is in good condition I donate it to charity. It will help someone and you will do a good deed!

💋 Don't cross your legs

As women, we often cross our legs more than men, especially because of our outfits. You can't sit the same way in a dress, skirt as in pants, right?
But crossing the legs is not good for the pelvis or the back. Crossing your legs doesn't do your circulation or your veins a favor. A cross-legged position puts unnecessary pressure on specific areas of your body. This pressure can lead to circulatory problems and ultimately contribute to venous disease or venous insufficiency.

💋 Don't sit all day

A sedentary lifestyle leads to many diseases. Humans were created to move. So if you're sitting too long, go for a run or hit the gym to balance that out!

💋 Make regular appointments with health professionals

Prevention is super important. Even if you feel healthy, it is still very important to have regular medical visits. Normally, you should make an appointment with your gynecologist, your dentist once a year and your chiropractor every 6 months even if you think you have no health problems. Health professionals are there to guide you and share the best health advice adapted to your lifestyle.

It's your daily habits that make you the person you are now! So take good care of yourself my dear!

Big kisses 💋 & See you next Monday my beautiful!
